A valedictory presentation by Prof Nic Cheeseman, now of the University of Birmingham, reflecting on his outstanding contribution to the study of African politics at Oxford’s African Studies Centre and the Dept of Politics and International Development. The event will also see the launch of the new OUP book, co-edited by Prof Cheese man, ‘The African Affairs Reader: Key Texts in Politics, Development and International Relations.
