The University of Oxford is leading the UKRI GCRF Accelerating Achievement for Africa’s Adolescents Hub. The goal of the hub is to improve outcomes for 20 million adolescents and children in 34 countries across Africa. The Hub will identify cost-effective services with synergies across multiple SDGs. The Hub integrates research excellence, capacity-sharing, policy partnerships and direct service delivery.

Funding: Oxford-Wellcome Enriching Engagement Scheme – call for applications now live
The call for applications for the Wellcome Enriching Engagement grants scheme for public engagement with research projects is now live: http://www.ox.ac.uk/research/public-engagement/support-researchers. This scheme is open to all Wellcome-funded awardees and grant holders (across all disciplines and departments) at the University of Oxford.
Funding of £10k to £100k is available and the closing date for the first round of this grants scheme is Friday, 20th September 2019.
Fellowship: TORCH Global South Visiting Fellowship
The TORCH ‘Global South’ Visiting Professorships is a flagship scheme to support Visiting Professors from the Global South for a minimum of one term in the academic year in Oxford. All Souls College will host the visiting academic, and TORCH would provide the Faculty and additional logistical support. Proposed TORCH ‘Global South’ Visiting Professors should be holders of university or related posts in their Country, and active in Humanities research areas. Visiting Professorships are not normally offered to candidates with doctorates awarded in the last seven years. This opportunity is not available to individuals holding posts in Oxford or who are already resident in or near Oxford.
