Visa arrangements

Make your arrangements for visa as soon as you receive your award letter. The earliest you can apply is 3 months before you travel.

AfOx, your host department or college, with support from Oxford’s Staff Immigration Team, will be able to advise you on the most appropriate visa for your specific visit.
As part of normal screening, you will be asked to present original documents (passport, visa) to your host department upon arrival. Please note that copies cannot be accepted.
