Views from AfOx Health Innovation Fellows

“This not just a programme bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to embark on an intellectually stimulating exercise. It is a platform to connect learners, doers, innovators and entrepreneurs at different stages of their entrepreneurial journeys. It gave me access to a community of active learners with research and evidence-based experience that catalysed my learning and transformed me.” Harry A.
“Ordinarily, as innovators-entrepreneur, we tend to focus on the 'working hard' aspect of entrepreneurship and disregard other important factors that greatly influence business outcome. Thanks to AfOx Innovation and Entrepreneurship scheme, I now have the confidence to look at things from different perspectives, change any limiting mindset, and perceive conditions and events with greater clarity and deeper understanding.” Okumu O.

We connect research to industry to solve intractable societal challenges by tackling prevention, early diagnosis, and treatment through impact investment and innovation.
