Motunrayo Ajia

Motunrayo is taking the MSc in Energy Systems at the University of Oxford. A graduate n Petroleum Engineering from Covenant University, Motunrayo is an inquisitive engineer who is passionate about making a tangible impact on society. As a consultant at the Boston Consulting Group Lagos, Motunrayo worked on solar energy and energy access projects developing interventions that informed programs and government policy on clean energy access. Asides from energy projects, she has also worked on projects in other sectors, including healthcare and telecommunication.

At Oxford, she intends to conduct research on the problem of low and clean energy access in sub-Saharan Africa. Following her studies, Motunrayo intends to work on increasing access to electricity in Africa through programs that seek to provide affordable and accessible energy for all.
