Sulaimon Femi Abimbade

Dr Sulaimon Femi Abimbade is currently a faculty member of the prestigious Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Nigeria. His research interest focuses on mathematical modelling, infectious disease dynamics, social behavioural dynamics, ecological dynamics, applied dynamical systems, and applied fractional calculus. He obtained his PhD and Bachelor’s degrees from LAUTECH, and a Master’s degree from Kwara State University, Nigeria. He is a recipient of prestigious awards, including the 2023 best Ph.D. Thesis Prize in Mathematical Sciences/Statistics by the Nigerian Society of Physical Sciences (NSPS) and 2025 edition of Professor Aderemi Kuku National Young Researcher's Prize in Mathematics awarded by the Nigerian Young Academy.
As a young research-driven and enthusiastic academic, Dr Abimbade has co-authored and published a number of articles in some reputable peer-reviewed journals, and a couple of his research endeavors have been presented at prestigious international conferences and workshops. He is currently serving as a section editor to NSPS journal and a reviewer to esteemed journals and scientific publishers. Dr Abimbade is an active member of professional bodies including, the Nigerian Mathematical Society (NMS), Nigerian Association of Mathematical Physics (NAMP), Nigerian Society of Physical Sciences (NSPS) and Africa Society for Biomathematics (ASB).
