Dr. Trhas Tadesse Berhe is a dedicated public health researcher specialising in maternal health and social and behavioural change communication. With extensive experience in designing and implementing community-based interventions, she focuses on improving maternal and newborn health outcomes through evidence-based strategies and culturally sensitive communication approaches. Her work emphasises empowering communities, promoting health literacy, and addressing behavioural barriers to maternal and child health.

Dr. Berhe has collaborated with governmental and non-governmental organisations on maternal health programs, conducting both qualitative and quantitative research to inform policy and practice. She is passionate about translating research findings into actionable solutions that improve health equity and access, particularly for vulnerable populations.
