Aderinsola Adelaja is a medical doctor pursuing an MSc in Integrated Immunology at the Nuffield Department of Surgical Sciences, University of Oxford. She is a Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholar and a member of University College.

Aderinsola has three years of clinical experience in treating renal illnesses and has participated in transplantation work-ups. These experiences have allowed her to learn the challenges of renal disease and transplantation in Nigeria. Her research experience has included projects on antimicrobial resistance, cervical cancer screening, and vaccine-linked coagulopathy. Aderinsola contributed to the COVIDSurg studies, which examined the global impact of COVID-19 on surgical patients.

She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Lagos State University, where she excelled academically, being recognised as the Best Graduating Medical Student and receiving eight awards for her outstanding performance.

After completing her studies at Oxford, Aderinsola plans to become a clinician-scientist, focusing on research in transplantation immunology to improve patient outcomes. Her long-term goal is to bridge the gap between scientific research and clinical practice in Nigeria.
