Denise Patricia Mawili Mboumba

Denise Patricia Mawili Mboumba is Full Professor in Parasitology. She held her PhD at Eberhard Karls University of  Tübingen, in Germany. Since more than 15 years, she conducts her research activities in the Department of Parasitology-Mycology of the Faculty of Medicine, at the Université des Sciences de la
Santé in Gabon. She works on parasitic diseases endemic in Gabon, notably Malaria, Filariasis and Intestinal Parasitic infections.  She is the head of the Research Unit on Infectious Agents and their Pathology and she is the Director of the Institute of Medical Biology.
