Emmanuel is an energy professional with over 3 years of experience. Emmanuel has worked at Bisedge Limited, a green logistics company, as the Head of Digital Tools and Innovation.  At Bisedge, he worked with the management team in successfully deploying electric forklifts and enabling sustainable transition into clean intra-logistics solutions for large networks of manufacturing companies in Sub-Saharan Africa. In 2020, he was selected from a pool of over 2,000 applicants from Africa and awarded a $40,000 scholarship by the Nigerian University of Technology and Management (co-funded by the Mastercard Foundation) for entrepreneurship and innovation traits as a young African. He was also a recipient of the Opportunity Funds Program (OFP) award by the US embassy in 2020.

Emmanuel graduated with a First-Class honour in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri. In 2021, Emmanuel was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma degree in Technology, Entrepreneurship and Design from the Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM).

At the University of Oxford, Emmanuel will be studying for an MSc in Energy Systems at the Department of Engineering Science. After Oxford, Emmanuel aims to lead digital innovations in sustainable energy transitioning in the global energy space. He is also passionate to create a technology hub in Africa to support young African start-ups involved in deploying market-creating innovations for the unreached populace.
