Gilbert Willy Tio Babena

Gilbert Willy TIO BABENA, a lecturer and researcher at the University of Maroua, is the current Secretary General of Le Grenier des savoirs, an African platform for scientific journals operating under the diamond model. He has a strong interest in issues related to scientific publishing, open access, and the promotion of endogenous knowledge in Africa. Host of the podcast La brocante des savoirs and member of the Association Science et Bien Commun, he also collaborates with Éditions Science et bien commun on several editorial projects, notably serving as editor of the young collection “Languages, Linguistics and Discourse Analysis.” His research interests include scientific publishing and scholarly communication, the functioning and impact of social discourses, epistemology, alternative models, and interdisciplinarity.
