Hajia Salamatu Yakubu, a Ghanaian medical doctor, is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. She is a Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholar and a member of Reuben College.
Hajia is the Director at MPC Limited, her family’s business, which specializes in industrial real estate and retail of construction equipment.
She holds a First Class Honours degree in Biology from York University, Canada, where she was actively involved as a Peer Tutor and Health Educator. She later earned her MB ChB from the University of Ghana Medical School, where she served as Community Service Coordinator, organizing various projects. Hajia has worked as a doctor for the past three years in both public and private healthcare settings.
After completing her MBA, Hajia aims to combine her medical and business expertise to drive initiatives that improve healthcare and infrastructure development in Ghana. She hopes to use her expanded knowledge and networks to create lasting solutions for her community and contribute to national development.
