Dr Ilupeju is a Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholar at Linacre College and is studying for the MSc in Translational Health Sciences at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Sciences, University of Oxford.

Leila’s clinical work experiences in Africa and Europe have enabled her to identify the potential of telemedicine to bridge health disparity gaps arising from low access to prompt healthcare delivery in low-resource settings, resulting in high mortality rates.

Her ultimate goal is to translate her attained expertise to implement an international telemedicine platform to facilitate prompt and efficient remote healthcare delivery to fulfil Sustainable Development Goal 3.
