Nalukuyi is a medical doctor who is passionate about establishing quality primary healthcare in Africa. She is a Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholar pursuing a Master of Science in Translational Health Sciences under the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at Reuben College, University of Oxford. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Zambia.

Before coming to Oxford, she worked as Head of Clinical Care at Zambia's busiest first-level hospital, Kanyama 1st Level Hospital. Her role involved overseeing all clinical care and diagnostic services and she was instrumental in developing strategies to improve patient care.

After completing her studies at Oxford, Nalukuyi hopes to return to Africa and implement innovative research in Primary healthcare to provide evidence-based, patient-centred care in an optimal healing environment.
