Paul Peter Siniga graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Mozambique – Tanzania Centre for Foreign Relations in Tanzania. Paul is studying for an MSc in African Studies at the School of Global and Area Studies, University of Oxford. He is Standard Bank Africa Chairman’s Scholar.

Before joining Oxford, Paul served as the Chief of Staff to the Consulate of Seychelles in Tanzania. He was also the Speaker of the Fourth East Africa Youth Parliament for the East African Community. Paul is a founding board member of the Africa Youth Transformation and has been awarded the Mwalimu Nyerere Pan African Young Leaders Fellowship and the Don Lavoie Political Economy Fellowship.

Paul actively contributes as a youth representative to the World Bank Group in Tanzania and the European Union delegation to Tanzania, serving as the Sustainable Development Goals Champion for the United Nations in Tanzania. He coordinates the Commonwealth Youth Council engagements in Tanzania and has served as Tazania’s UNICEF and UNFPA youth advocate. Paul co-founded and directs a consultancy startup, Aguila Group Limited, which operates in Tanzania. His significant impact was recognised in 2019 when he was acknowledged as one of the 50 Most Influential Tanzanians.

Upon completing his studies at Oxford, Paul is committed to returning to Africa to establish an impact-driven platform. This platform will advocate for the implementation of sound policies and offer advisory services to enhance international cooperation between Africa and the global community. He also aspires to return to Oxford for his doctoral research, demonstrating his long-term commitment to academic exploration and his dedication to contributing to the continent’s positive change.
