Sharon is taking the MSc Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Oxford. As a young African graduate, she is passionate about how the intricacies of criminal law and the dispensation of justice effect vulnerable and marginalized groups. She is committed to developing a safe and trusted society where both the needs of victims and offenders can be addressed as humanely as possible by a fair and impartial judicial system and an accountable penal system.

During her studies, she seeks to explore avenues through which wrongful convictions and miscarriages of justice can be addressed and treated. Researching the injustices of prolonged custodial remand in the Ghanaian correctional system.
